Corrections and Amendments

‘On power transformation to symmetry’

I am indebted to Hai-Li Wang for the following corrections.

In the matrix {Sigma}N on p. 107 the covariance element 2µ(v+µ2) should be divided by 3.

Equations (5·5) and (5·6) assume {Sigma}cj=1.

The expression for {lambda}–4 VT({lambda}, c) on p. 109 is incorrect and should be replaced by 2A3(c)/{B(c)}2, where the limits of integration in A3(c) and B(c) should be .
