   Abstract

The maximum likelihood estimates of the parent-sib interclass correlation and other parameters are obtained, when the between sibs correlation matrix has a circular structure. The problem of testing hypotheses about interclass correlation is also considered.

Key Words: Circular covariance • Interclass correlation • Maximum likelihood estimator • Parent sib-mean estimator
