Use of cumulative efficient scores for testing ordered alternatives in discrete models

C. HIROTSU

Faculty of Engineering, University of Tokyo Japan

Statistics based on cumulative efficient scores are introduced for testing ordered alternatives in various discrete models. The procedure is regarded as a natural extension of a normal complete class lemma for multidimensional one-sided alternatives. Local asymptotic powers of the proposed statistics are given.

Key Words: Contingency table • Cumulative efficient score • Ordered alternative • Proportional hazards regression model • Rank test • Three-factor interaction
