The asymptotic joint distribution of the efficient scores test for the proportional hazards model calculated over time

ANASTASIOS A. TSIATIS

Biostatistics Division, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memphis, Tennessee

The score statistic of the proportional hazards model calculated at different points in time is shown to converge asymptotically to a multivariate normal process with independent increments when individuals enter randomly throughout the course of the study.

Key Words: Efficient scores test • Log rank test • Proportional hazards model • Survival
