A table of selected percentiles for the Cramér-von Mises-Lehmann test: Equal sample sizes

A. J. ZAJTA * and W. PANDIKOW {dagger}

Department of Mathematics, University of Zambia

After a brief exposition of the Cramér-von Mises and Lehmann tests, a table is given for sample sizes m = n = 4(1)12(2)22, 23 and for selected signifiance levels in the range 0·0001 <= p <= 0·5. The computations were carried out at the Univeristy of Zambia and were based on an explicit formula for the probability function of the statistic. The paper concludes with a shourt account of the computation.

Key Words: Continued fraction • Generating function • Nonparametric test • Null hypothesis
