A cyclic method of constructing regular group divisible incomplete block designs

G. H. FREEMAN

National Vegetable Research Station, Wellesbourne Warwick

A cyclic method is given for constructing regular group divisible incomplete block designs. Solutions are given for 19 new designs having not more than 10 replicates or plots per block, of which one is not cyclic; there are alternative cyclic solutions for a further 22 known designs, with more than one alternative for five of these.

Key Words: Cyclic construction • Partially balanced incomplete block design • Regular group divisible design
