Page 127, lines 19–21. The algorithm should be corrected thus:

'If the largest of the vk given by (7) is > 1, set it equal to 1 and repeat the procedure with the remaining vk until all vk ≤ 1, the constraints vk > 0 being automatically satisfied. A proof, based on Theorem 1 of Thompson (1962), along with some extensions will be given elsewhere.'
