The mean efficiency of equl-replicate designs

The usual definition of efficiency of an experimental design is extended to cover mean efficiency over a number of contrasts, at least for the case where all treatments are equally replicated. A relationship is found between the mean efficiency of a design and that of ite dual. An upper bound for mean efficiency is given.
